SecureKIDshoes provides a value service in even more common cases where a young child is lost, but doesn't know enough information to enable the police to readily contact the parents. Young kids generally don't have ID cards and are likely to lose them if they did. Our tag system is laced into shoes and when your child tells the police about the shoe tags, they can easily and quickly obtain full identification and the parents contact information. In the case of abduction, abductors will generally replace the child's clothing but will very seldom replace the shoes.

If you have young children, having them carry an ID card will probably not be practical. Thus, we offer another product that allows you to have identification on your child at all times without any fuss. SecureKIDshoes is a product that works with SecureKIDtag or in place of it. If you order both at the same time, you will receive them with a shared serial number.

SecureKIDshoes contains 3 pairs of small lace tags with our web URL and a serial number. The 3 pairs come in white, black and blue to match the color of the shoes and allow you to use them on 3 sets of shoetags. The Shoetags come in two different sizes, small for children under 9 and large for children over 10 and adults. These small laminated Shoetags contain two grommets and are designed to be laced into the shoe at the first set of holes. Place it under the laces flap, and put one on each shoe of the pair. In addition to all the security reasons to use it on both shoes, there is the practical visual aspect that one shoe without it and one shoe with the Shoetags will quickly stand out to an observate person.

The shoe tag is out of the way and does not affect comfort. We have seen a kit where you write your child's information on a label and attach the label on the underside of the tongue of the shoe. Not only will this wear off in pretty quick order, the child will be able to feel it and it will be uncomfortable. In addition, giving an abductor the child's name, address and telephone number is not a good idea. Finally, most abductor's will change a child's clothing, but they will not change or mess with shoes. Shoes are the one thing that will survive an abduction and not be closely inspected. The SecureKIDshoes product can help identify your young child quickly, yet maintain your privacy and families security.

The kit also includes two laminated wallet cards for the parent(s) to keep. This allows both parents to carry a card wtih the serial number and emergency notification instructions. Or a parent could carry one and leave the other posted at home so other members of the family could inform police of the shoe tags and/or contact Blue Planet. Finally, we are working on a phone, sms and email emergency notification system that could help in the recovery of your child and/or their personal property. If shoes are changed at some point, chances are they will be thrown out or abandoned somewhere that another person might find them and discover the Shoetags. This information could prove very helpful in the recovery of an abducted child.

These Shoe tags, unlike any other product on the market, will last for a lifetime. Purchase them once and only worry about them again to move them to a new pair of shoes.
